Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

ABOUT THE CLASS

MON at 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Registration for the 2025-2026 class year is open.

Class will begin on Monday, August 25, 2025.

For the 2025-2026 class year, we are studying Psalms.

Our classes meet at First Presbyterian Church each Monday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM during the school year. As an option, an online class is offered via ZOOM at the same time as our "in person" classes.

Free Nursery is provided for Infants through 3 years while a parent/guardian is attending their on site CBS class. (Registration and weekly reservations are required.)

Currently Studying: Psalms

The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present. Known as the Psalter, this collection of Holy Spirit-inspired poetry captures the highs and lows of life. The Psalms are powerful prayers, guiding us into honest communication with God. They validate our doubts, passions, fears, and longings and show us how to draw near to God in our struggles. This Bible study organizes the Psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their main ideas and apply them to your own conversations with God.
